Tanzania, Here I Come

Tomorrow at approximately 4:30 PM I will take off from Newark Airport en route to a four month stay in the United Republic of Tanzania.  For those of you that don’t know, Tanzania is located in central East Africa on the Indian Ocean.  I’ll spend my time trekking across the northern territories of the country in search of lions, monkeys, wildebeest, hippos, giraffes, and elephants.

I will also be taking up residence with the Massai, nomadic indigenous people that live throughout Eastern Africa. While my access to the internet will be limited, I hope to remain plugged in at least a little bit.  Check back for updates from Africa.
